A thoughtful cleaning
It's about adopting simple actions to preserve and extend the life of our equipment
The first steps
Start by thoroughly removing the hairs with a brush.
(Tip: Use a rubber brush)
If there are stubborn stains , dampen the area and rub with Marseille soap. It's gentle, natural, and very effective.
Then leave it on for 15 minutes to 1 hour before washing.
Wash less, wash better

You can wash your pad by hand or in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C , or better yet, in cold water.
Washing in cold water saves energy and prolongs the life of your pad (and the planet).
If you choose the machine, remember to turn the pad over : to prevent the fabrics on the saddle side from coming into contact with the drum, as they are often more sensitive and could be damaged.
But keep in mind that the machine is abrasive : over time, it wears down the materials. The less you use it, the longer your pad will last.
Sometimes a simple spray of water is enough.
The little responsible tip

The Guppyfriend brand offers a washing bag that retains microplastics released by synthetic textiles during washing.
It protects the wastewater... and your washing machine drum pad!
Just air!

Once clean, dry your saddle pad straddling a line or support.
No tumble dryer!
Heat damages fibers and fabrics and can cause deformation.
Beware of direct sunlight!
Remember to turn your pad over during drying to prevent UV rays from altering the colors and materials.
