General terms and conditions of sale

Purpose

These terms and conditions of sale define the contractual relationship between SYNE and the buyer, and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the SYNE online store, whether the buyer is a professional or a consumer. Purchasing a product or service through this website implies the buyer's unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.

These terms and conditions of sale shall prevail over any other general or specific terms and conditions not expressly agreed to by SYNE. SYNE reserves the right to modify its terms and conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the applicable terms and conditions will be those in effect on the date the order is placed by the buyer.

Characteristics of the goods offered

The products offered are those presented on the SYNE website. These products are offered subject to availability.

The photographs on the website are as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee a perfect likeness to the product offered, particularly with regard to colors.

Prices

The prices listed on the website are inclusive of all taxes and are in euros, taking into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order; any change in the VAT rate may be reflected in the price of the products or services. SYNE reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood, however, that the price listed in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only price applicable to the buyer. The prices indicated include order processing, shipping, and delivery costs, provided that delivery takes place within the geographical areas specified below.

Orders

A buyer wishing to purchase a product must:

Complete the identification form, providing all the requested information;

Validate their order after reviewing it;

Make payment according to the specified terms;

Confirm their order and payment. Order confirmation implies acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale, acknowledgement of having read and understood them fully, and waiver of any right to invoke one's own terms of purchase or any other conditions.

All data provided and the recorded confirmation will serve as proof of the transaction.

Confirmation will constitute signature and acceptance of the transactions carried out. The seller will send an email confirming the order.

Right of Withdrawal

Private buyers (non-professionals) have a 15-day withdrawal period from the date of delivery of their order to return the product to the seller for exchange or refund without penalty. Returned or exchanged products must be new and in their original packaging.

Return and reshipping costs will be borne by SYNE for Europe. Return and reshipping costs will be borne by the customer for areas outside Europe.

 

Sales Promotion

Please note that during temporary sales promotions (promotions, sales, etc.), SYNE may apply specific special conditions. These conditions may affect delivery times (due to high order volume, delivery times may be extended from 2 to 5 business days) or the return method, which may exceptionally be at the customer's expense. If these special conditions change during these sales promotions, they will be specifically displayed on the website near the "add to cart" button. These conditions will be binding at the time of purchase.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon ordering.

Payments will be made by:

Bank transfer (our bank details for the transfer will be provided to you upon order confirmation)

STRIPE – the complete list of accepted credit cards will be provided to the customer during the payment process.

PAYPAL

The buyer's account will only be debited for the amount of the products ordered and only when the customer confirms their order. Upon request, the buyer will receive a paper invoice showing the VAT.

Deliveries / Packaging

Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form, which must be within the agreed geographical area. Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer once the products have left SYNE's premises.

In case of damage during transport, a formal complaint must be filed with the carrier within three days of delivery. Delivery times are provided for informational purposes only; if they exceed thirty days from the date of the order, the sales contract may be cancelled and the buyer refunded.

Products are shipped in cardboard packaging, a compostable bag, or a recyclable envelope.

Warranty

All products supplied by the seller are covered by the legal warranty stipulated in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. In the event of a product's non-conformity, it may be returned to the seller, who will accept the return, exchange the product, or issue a refund. All claims, requests for exchanges or refunds must be made by mail to the following address: SYNE – 18 avenue Weber 93500 PANTIN FRANCE within thirty days of the delivery date.

Liability

 

The seller, in the online sales process, is only bound by an obligation of means; its liability cannot be invoked for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet, such as data loss, intrusion, viruses, service interruptions, or other unintentional problems. Intellectual Property: All elements of the SYNE website are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of SYNE. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, redistribute, or use in any way whatsoever, even partially, any elements of the website, whether software, visual, or audio. Any simple or hypertext link is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of SYNE.

 

Personal Data

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, personal information relating to buyers may be processed automatically. SYNE reserves the right to collect information about buyers, including through the use of cookies, and, if it so chooses, to share this information with its business partners.

Buyers may object to the disclosure of their contact information by notifying SYNE. Similarly, users have the right to access and rectify their personal data, in accordance with the law of 6 January 1978.

Archiving / Proof

SYNE will archive order forms and invoices on a reliable and durable medium, constituting a faithful copy in accordance with the provisions of Article 1348 of the French Civil Code. SYNE's computerized records will be considered by the parties as proof of communications, orders, payments, and transactions between them.

Dispute Resolution

These online sales terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts of Paris, notwithstanding multiple defendants or third-party claims.
